For temporary access to remote working areas, TuffTrak’s heavy-duty 3m wide mats area superior alternative to timber bogmats for creating temporary access roads. Manufactured as solid 40mm thick mats from recycled HDPE plastic, TuffTrak is ideal for use with heavy plant. Safe vehicle traction is essential to health on site, and TuffTrak has a dual grip design with a unique chevron traction surface, plus a reversible low-profile traction surface for pedestrian users. The chevron traction surface improves grip and mud dispersal when vehicles or plant are using the product. This reduces slippage in challenging bad weather and ground conditions. The low-profile traction surface is ideal for pedestrian areas where personnel will be the main users, or in deployment as working pads for drilling rigs or depot storage areas.Further Information Subject to firm, dry ground conditions, TuffTrak mats are usually comfortable with vehicles up to 60 tonnes UDL (Uniformly Distributed Load). Heavier vehicles up to 100 tonnes may be used with caution for short term access in dry weather. However, it is the user’s responsibility to assess the load-bearing capacity of the ground, and to only operate vehicles within the weight that the ground is capable of safely supporting. TuffTrak mats are guaranteed for 12 months against breakage by vehicles within the stated loading.
