XtremeMats are the most advanced and versatile heavy-duty matting system in the world! Strong, tough, and built for use in the harshest environments, XtremeMats will far outlast timber bogmats, making them a sound investment for long term projects and rental companies. These ultra-tough HDPE 4 x 2 metre mats have a hard foam inner core, specially designed to give buoyancy, so you can make access roads across boggy ground, through swamps, or even floating on water! Overlapping flange joints give total support on soft ground and are connected with special Mega-Thread bolts for easy alignment on undulating sites. XtremeMats are suitable for use with rubber tracked or tyred vehicles, and military vehicles with rubber track pads. Steel tracked plant may be used at the owner’s discretion but will inevitably cause accelerated wear.Further Information Subject to firm, dry ground conditions, XtremeMats are usually comfortable with vehicles up to 80 tonnes UDL (Uniformly Distributed Load). Heavier vehicles up 120 tonnes tonnes may be used with caution for short term access in dry weather. However, it is the user’s responsibility to assess the load-bearing capacity of the ground, and to only operate vehicles within the weight that the ground is capable of safely supporting. XtremeMats are guaranteed for 12 months against breakage by vehicles within the stated loading. GroundGuards Ltd accepts no liability whatsoever for any damage, loss or injury arising from the ground conditions on which these products are used. GroundGuards’ XtremeMats are not suitable to use for bridging purposes. Damage caused by mechanical equipment (e.g. cuts by digger buckets) or falling objects, or sharp protrusions beneath the mats is not covered by guarantee.
